Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

As CatalystPay's CTO, you will be instrumental in shaping our technological future, particularly focusing on expanding our presence in the EU market. Your visionary leadership will be pivotal in enhancing our technological offerings, aligning with CatalystPay's mission and strategic goals. Reporting directly to the CEO and part of our Executive Team, you will be steering our technology direction, fostering innovation, and cultivating a dynamic and collaborative team culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Craft and articulate a forward-thinking technical vision and roadmap that aligns with our business objectives.
- Develop strategic technology initiatives that support our business goals and objectives.
- Lead and nurture our tech team, promoting a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the development and execution of technology projects, guaranteeing quality, timeliness, and budget compliance.
- Cultivate partnerships with key vendors and technology providers, enhancing our service offerings and market position.
- Implement robust measurement and analytics to monitor and optimize technology performance.
- Leverage technology to enhance business operations and customer experience, identifying and capitalizing on new opportunities.
- Manage technology-related budgeting and financial forecasting with precision and strategic insight.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 10 years in technology, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
- Over 5 years of experience in a technology leadership position within the FinTech/Payments sector.
- Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing technology strategies that drive business growth.
- Deep understanding of cloud technologies, infrastructure management, and DevOps principles.
- Hands-on builder with strong web dev skills, preferably JS stack (Node.js, TypeScript, React, NextJS)
- Hands-on experience with AI products or projects (Python, OpenAI, TensorFlow).
- In-depth knowledge of IT protocols and infrastructure, including networking protocols, server management, and system administration.
- Strong project management skills with a proven ability to lead and deliver complex projects.
- Deep understanding of financial services with a keen business acumen.
- Exceptional communication skills, with proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
- Analytical and problem-solving prowess, capable of navigating a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
